Who is Mouse?

Hello, my name is Mouse. I have Fibromyalgia, Chronic Fatigue Syndrome (CFS/ME ), depression, anxiety and a few more illnesses. I am dedicated to raising awareness of the chronic and mental illnesses that affect millions of people today.

I am a mother to a wonderful daughter, wife to a loving and supportive husband, teacher for young adults who want to broaden their knowledge, entrepreneur for my own range of skincare and most recently a mental health blogger.

Why is my page called ‘Mouse on the Run’ I hear you ask? Well there is a personal story behind this title. My husband gave me a nickname many years ago, which I am sure you can guess – Mouse!
By calling my page Mouse, I am allowing you in to my personal world and allowing myself to open up to you fully so that you can better understand what I go through on a daily basis. Warts and all.

As I am sure you are aware, when you are diagnosed with an illness, all you want to do is either curl up into a ball and hope it goes away or try to run from it. The truth is, you cannot run from your problems, especially when they come from inside of you. ‘Mouse on the Run’ is a play on words that I am running from something that is theoretically impossible. Opening up to you and writing my life down on paper allows me to accept what will be and come out stronger on the other side. So come and join me! Let’s battle through this together 🙂
