Happy new year!

Happy new year! So I have decided to start a blog. Ok,sit up straight Val.

About me: I am 46 years old.l am a wife,mum and schoolteacher. I live in London,UK.

Is that it? 5 facts to sum me up.

I will tell you more as time goes by. Today I am watching movies with my family. I am exhausted. I have overexerted myself over the last few days and now I am paying the price.Oh I forgot to mention… I live with fibromyalgia. It’s a condition with over 60 symptoms according to a pin l saw recently! I haven’t counted my symptoms because I am too tired and lack concentration.Maybe that’s a good thing.

Anyway, enough about me..What did you do last night? Watched the fireworks? Go to a restaurant? I played with my gorgeous daughter and neices. Then I watched Hairspray and fell asleep at 11 pm ish. I love Hairspray.

This morning started bad. The toilet seat broke. No don’t laugh, I know I need to lose some pounds,ok ..A lot of pounds, but the toilet seat is very old. So I sent hubby to the shop. He came back with TV cable, bread, milk and doughnuts. I am speechless.

Save the bees!

Food, Fibromyalgia and Me

Changing my life 1 day at a time. Welcome everybody to my Food and Fibromyalgia blog, a page about my life trying to overcome Fibromyalgia and how much I love food. My name is Jess Smith. I am young professional in her early 20s, 2 years ago I was diagnosed with Fibromyalgia. I have decided it's time for me to take my life in my own hands and take a months sick leave, I will spend my time trying to heal myself both physically and mentally. Using this blog I would like to take you on this journey with me, I will be writing a short post everyday, whether anyone reads it or not, about what I'm doing, how I'm feeling, my progress and what I've eaten. I am stuck in a rut and I need to knock myself out of it, it's hard to explain to those that don't have this condition about how it feels but I will try my best to educate those that are unfamiliar and provide some comfort for those that are also sufferers.
